Staring Down Retirement: Planning Strategies and Practical Advice
Congress is again considering changes to the IRA payout rules, including killing the so-called stretch IRA and capping the amount taxpayers can save in their IRAs. Meanwhile, retirement is staring baby boomers in the face and they need planning advice now. This presentation provides updates on the legislative proposals and tax reform and discusses existing strategies for planning for distribution of retirement account assets. The presentation will also offer advice on various administrative issues that arise in working with plan administrators and beneficiaries.
