Time:   11:00 am - 8:00 pm

The original Wollaston Golf Club on West Squantum Street in Quincy dates back to 1895. Francis Quimet used the course for his practice rounds prior to competing in the British Opens and Amateurs. He found the wind conditions and the wide variety of topography well suited for the preparation needed to compete overseas. In the early 1970's the members of the Wollaston Golf Club constructed their new championship course in its current location in Milton, Massachusetts. The golf course, designed by golf architects George and Tom Fazio, has played host to a number of championships over the years. One of the most recent was the 1992 U.S. Junior Championship which was the second of three that Tiger Woods won. The course, nestled in the Blue Hills, plays through 6,748 yards of tall pines and a few ponds on the front nine. In contrast, the back has a much more open feel to it and concludes with an uphill 421 yard par 4. This closing hole plays much longer than the yardage on the card due to a severe uphill approach shot.

NEW: Tennis TOURNAMENT! The tournament will be limited to 20 participants. Your entrance fee will include tennis, cocktails and dinner. This will be a round robin tournament with all abilities welcomed. The dress code is all white. The tournament will begin at 2.30 pm and end at 4:30 pm.

Our GOLF CLINIC RETURNS!! The Women’s Initiative Committee will host this clinic that will focus on short game skills. The clinic will start at 2:30 pm and end at 4:30 pm. Participants will have the opportunity to join the networking and reception portion of the golf tournament. This clinic is open to both women and men.

This year’s event will support through special events... Our mission is simple: To bring birthday parties to homeless children. Birthday Wishes recognizes the importance of a birthday in a child's life and believes that the gift of a birthday celebration provides normalcy, joy and hope in these children's otherwise unsettled lives. Our grassroots philosophy fosters the spirit of volunteerism and community service in the adults, children and families who donate their time and resources to our mission.
