A co-founder of Pillar Financial Advisors in 1986, Beth has been helping wealthy individuals evaluate, coordinate and implement sophisticated estate, investment, income tax and charitable giving strategies for over 25 years. For seven consecutive years Worth Magazine named Beth as one of the "best financial advisers" in the country. From 1996 to 2001 she wrote "Money Makeovers" for The Boston Globe, which described her as one of “New England’s leading financial planners.” A member of the Boston Estate Planning Council since 1985, Beth served on the Board of Directors in 1991-1993 and again in 2001-2004. She co-chaired the Programs and Education Committee from 2002 to 2005 and sat on the Nominating Committee three times. Beth is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). From 1994 to 1997 she served on the Executive Committee of the Personal Financial Planning Division of the AICPA. After completing two terms on the AICPA’s National CPA Financial Literacy Commission, Beth now acts as a media spokesperson for the AICPA on financial literacy topics.

Beth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from the University of North Carolina. She earned her M.S.B.A. in accounting from the University of Massachusetts Isenberg School of Management where she serves on the Business Advisory Council.
