Important Event Information
The health and safety of our members and guests is important to BEPC. Following in-depth discussions, research and guidance from industry professionals, and the data secured via surveys within the membership, BEPC’s Board of Directors enacted the following requirements for participation at in-person BEPC events. In addition, BEPC will also comply with all venue and government mandates (e.g., mask mandates, limits on gathering sizes, presenting vaccination cards, etc.).
- Effective 9/20/22, BEPC operates under the assumption that attendees at in-person
events are either vaccinated or have received a negative COVID-19 test result from a test taken within 72 hours prior to the event.
- BEPC retains the right to require all attendees to complete a digital health clearance prior to attending an in-person event.
- If required, attendees must submit proof of their COVID-19 vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours prior to the event start date.
- Within 48 hours prior to the event, attendees will receive additional information from staff on the digital health clearance process. Failure to receive clearance prevents an individual from attending an in-person event.
- If the venue or local mandates in effect for the event location require stricter measures (e.g., proof of vaccination against COVID-19 required to enter indoor space), BEPC and all event attendees shall comply with such measures.
- BEPC shall require all attendees accept the “Acknowledgement of Personal Responsibility Form” prior to attending an in-person event. Notice of this requirement and the form will be included on the relevant event webpage and within the registration form/process. Attendees will not be permitted to attend the event without accepting the acknowledgement of personal responsibility.
- BEPC will not permit attendees at any event that are openly displaying signs of illness to enter the event or remain at it and requires that members not attend BEPC events if they are sick, have been sick within the 14 days leading up to the event, have come into contact with anyone who is sick or have traveled to states not listed on the Massachusetts Governor’s approved travel list.
