Planning around the new Massachusetts ‘Millionaires Tax’ Webinar Description The new Massachusetts “Millionaires Tax” – a 4% surtax on taxable income in excess of $1 million in any year – will almost double the tax rate on taxpayers to whom it applies. The new tax, however, has left the doors open to many strategies that may lessen its impact. This presentation will discuss what kinds of strategies may work for what kinds of taxpayers, with a discussion of some of the stumbling blocks and planning considerations that any of these strategies may entail.
