On February 15, 2022, Governor Baker signed a new session law extending various measures adopted during the COVID-19 emergency. The new law, Chapter 22 of the Acts of 2022, included an extension of remote notarization. Massachusetts estate planners can use remote notarization and witnessing through July 31, 2022.
