The Boston Estate Planning Council (BEPC) is proud to announce the approval of its new vision and mission statements, unveiled at the Annual Gala on May 21, 2025. This milestone marks an exciting step forward in the organization’s strategic evolution.
Formally approved by the Board of Directors on May 8, 2025, the new statements were developed through a comprehensive, research-driven process led by BEPC’s Strategic Planning Committee in partnership with Vista Cova, an independent strategy and research firm, and our management company, Barcami Lane, Inc. The development process included engagement with members and stakeholders across Greater Boston's estate planning profession. VisionCultivating excellence for estate planning professionals. MissionBEPC is a community of dynamic, diverse and collaborative professionals dedicated to advancing the field of estate planning through: - Fostering connections within the Council;
- Educational programming and professional development for every stage of one’s career;
- Thought leadership to promote subject matter expertise; and
- Meaningful service and collaborative partnerships.
These statements reflect BEPC’s renewed commitment to empowering members in their careers, advancing professional excellence, and strengthening the estate planning community.
The new vision and mission also set the foundation for BEPC’s forthcoming strategic plan, to be finalized in FY26, which will focus on three core goals: Engage & Serve, Education & Professional Excellence, and Community & Collaboration.
