January 6CHRISTMAS • Armenian Orthodox ChristianThe day Armenian Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus. Before the Roman empire adopted Christianity, this was the original day all Christians observed the birth of Jesus.
January 6EPIPHANY | THEOPHANY • ChristianCelebrates the manifestation of Jesus as Christ. The Western Church associates Epipany with the journey of the Magi to the infant Jesus Christ, and the Eastern Orthodox Church associates Theopany with the baptism of Jesus Christ by John.

January 16 DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR DAYThe birthday of civil rights activist Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is on January 15th but it is observed on the third Monday in January.
