Mark your calendars for the 2025 BEPC Annual Gala at the Sheraton Boston Hotel. There will be a small block of rooms available at the Sheraton for those looking to stay the evening.

The BEPC Annual Gala is a celebration of the 2025 Excellence Award recipient, the 2025 President’s Award recipient, and the transition of our presidents.

Admission

Individual Tickets

  • Early Registration (through April 30, 2025): Member: $175.00 pp / Non-Member: $200.00 pp
  • Regular Registration (after April 30, 2025): Member: $250.00 pp / Non-Member: $275.00 pp
  • Reserve a Table of Ten (includes 10 individual tickets): $1,750.00 per table (through April 30, 2025) and $2,500.00 (after April 30, 2025)

Registration closed on Friday, May 9, 2025, allowing for BEPC to confirm that all planning details finalized for the evening. We are not able to accommodate additional advance or onsite registrations. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you on May 21, 2025.  

We are able to accommodate substitutions (1:1), refer to the Event Cancellation and Substitution Policy at the bottom of this page. A registrant may send a substitute person to the Annual Gala in their place. 

Important: Members must be logged in to receive the discounted Early Bird and Regular Registration rate.
Individual Tickets purchased do not reserve a table, you must purchase a Table of Ten. Individual payments for a Table of Ten will not be allowed.

Meet Your 2025 Excellence Award Winner
Sarah M. Allen, JD, LL.M., AEP®

Sarah M. Allen is a shareholder and director at Rice, Heard & Bigelow, Inc., the oldest company of individual professional trustees in the country. Sarah serves exclusively as a professional fiduciary for individuals, families and charities. She has been named an Accredited Estate Planner® by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils.

Sarah is a long-time member of the Boston Estate Planning Council. She has served on various committees, as a board member and as an officer, and as BEPC’s president in 2019-2020. She is also a past recipient of the BEPC President’s Award. In addition, Sarah has served as chair of both the Boston Foundation’s Professional Advisor Committee and Professional Advisor Network. 

She is active in her town as well, working as the treasurer of the parent organization at her children’s school. Sarah coaches youth field hockey and volunteers for her local food pantry. Sarah lives in North Reading, Massachusetts with her husband, children and dog.

Before joining Rice, Heard & Bigelow, Sarah was a partner and co-manager of the estate planning department at Pabian & Russell, LLC. She earned her bachelor of science degree from Syracuse University and both her J.D. and LL.M. in taxation from Boston University School of Law.

Meet Your 2025 President's Award Recipient
Jennifer M. Hall, CFP®, AEP®

Jennifer Hall is a Wealth Manager and Financial Planner on the Wealth Management team at Appleton Partners, Inc. She works in close collaboration with attorneys, accountants, and trustees to assist individuals, families, and non-profit relationships achieve their wealth management and financial planning goals. Jen is also a member of Appleton’s Equity Investment Committee. Prior to joining Appleton in 2016, Jen served as the Trust Administrator at Cambridge Appleton Trust. She has completed the Financial Planning Program at Boston University and earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2019 as well as her Accredited Estate Planner, AEP®, designation in 2024.

Meet Your 2025 President's Award Recipient
Caroline McKay, JD, LLM, AEP®

Caroline McKay is a senior wealth strategist with CIBC Private Wealth’s Boston office, with over 18 years of industry experience. In this role, she works closely with relationship managers and clients to develop and implement estate and wealth transfer strategies as part of the firm’s integrated wealth management process.

Prior to joining CIBC Private Wealth, Caroline served as assistant vice president and head of the Advanced Markets Department at John Hancock Insurance. In this role, she provided advanced tax, business and estate planning support to insurance professionals, financial advisors, certified public accountants and attorneys. Caroline has been a frequent speaker at prominent industry events and is the author of several articles related to estate and tax planning. 

Caroline earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history, magna cum laude, from Colby College; a Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University, cum laude; and a Master of Laws degree in taxation from New York University School of Law.

Caroline is a member and committee chair with the Boston Estate Planning Council, a premier estate planning organization in Boston and a board member for the YWCA Darien/Norwalk in Darien, CT. Until recently, she was also a den leader and committee member for her local Cub Scout organization for the past 6 years.

Amy Pocsik is the founder and CEO of Bold Moves – an executive coaching consultancy advising top entrepreneurs and executives to exponentially increase their success. Serving clients nationwide, Amy and the Bold Moves team offer one-to-one coaching, virtual and in-person strategy sessions, immersive seminars and events that help leaders grow revenue, build high-performing teams, establish thought leadership platforms, and create a life and business aligned with their authentic purpose.

Her professional accomplishments have gained extreme praise, with Fast Company hailing her as a “national leader in helping others find purpose and success,” Forbes naming her to their prestigious Coaches Council, and Boston Business Journal recognizing her as one of the top 40 Under 40. A North Shore Massachusetts native, she received the honor of Northshore Magazine's Movers & Shakers award.

Prior to embarking on her entrepreneurial career, Amy spent more than a decade working as a CPA. From working at a top accounting firm to managing multi-million-dollar budgets and hundreds of employees, she created the strategies for success she now shares with others. Event Cancellation and Substitution Policy

Annual Gala Refunds and Cancellations
The deadline to receive a full refund is May 1, 2025. All cancellation requests must be received in writing via email at bepc@bepc.org. Refunds are subject to a $50.00 processing fee.

Annual Gala Substitutions
A registrant may send a substitute person to the Annual Gala in their place. Requests for substitutions should be sent in writing by email to bepc@bepc.org, by May 8, 2025. We are able to accommodate a limited number of onsite substitutions. 

Annual Gala Onsite Registrations
We are not able to accommodate onsite registrations. We are able to accommodate substitutions, see above.
